Responsible for coordinating and supporting activities and tasks in the areas of Finance and Accounting.
Job Description:
AP Management
- Process Weekly payables; check processing and telegraphic transfers/CWS check voucher preparation
- Responsible of accrual of invoices every month-end
- Responsible of complete documentation of processed payables with monthly reporting of progress
- Monthly review on the status of each account of outstanding payables
- Knowledgeable on basic computation of taxes
- Confident and able to communicate with other sections for relevant inquiries
- Perform monthly reconciliation of General Ledger to Sub-Ledger
- Confident to provide ideas for improvement and solutions for possible concerns and issues
- Can prepare adjusting journal entries necessary before Financial Closing
- Assist team members during BIR and FS Audit
Financial Closing
- Responsible of review of monthly expenses for accuracy and completeness
- Monitoring of Financial Closing checklist
- Responsible in preparing Cost of Service every month
- Responsible of month-end closing entries
- Responsible of Amortization of Prepaid Expenses and Insurance
- Responsible Amortization of Prepaid Condominium Expenses of Japanese Expats
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply)
- Preferably with at least 1 year experience in handling Accounts Payable
- Basic knowledge on Accounting Systems - at least QuickBooks (QB)
- Basic knowledge on PEZA registered entities rules and regulations
- Must have Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills
- Good communication skills (written and oral)
- Proficient in basic MS Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Having a license as a Certified Public Accountancy (CPA) is an advantage
