As a Talent Acquisition Specialist - Sourcing, you will be responsible for the sourcing, screening, and hiring of technical specialists to fill IT positions. You’ll support the team in recruiting processes by partnering closely with Hiring Managers, Recruiters, and executives and be able to meet deadlines to the satisfaction of all parties involved.To be a successful technical recruiter, you should have a good working knowledge of technology, technical roles, and technical skills, as well as knowledge of the recruitment process. 

What you will do:

  • Focus on sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • End to End Recruitment. Drive the entire recruitment lifecycle from creating and/or posting job descriptions and job ads, sourcing & screening resumes, coordinating & conducting interviews to salary negotiations & offer management.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers for interview schedules and regular updates
  • Prepare hiring documents, determine selection criteria and execute hiring strategies
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Create timely reports on key talent acquisition metrics
  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies
  • Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry
  • Keeping track of all applicants as well as keeping applicants informed on the application process.
  • Be a subject matter expert in your area of focus by regularly track and analyze pipeline and performance data to share with internal stakeholders external trends

Who you are:

  • At least 5 years of sourcing, recruiting or other applicable experience hiring for technical roles
  • BSc in Human Resources Management, Psychology or relevant field is preferred
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, job boards and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Jobstreet, Kalibrr, etc.) and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods is an advantage
  • Ability to effectively network & build relationships inside and outside the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple hiring and recruiting managers, priorities, rolesExperience researching, building, and driving strategic plans
